SBI PO is considered as one of the top central banking exams of the country. SBI PO is the Recruitment Examination for Probationary Officers to various SBI branches. A PO holds the designation of an Assistant Manager (AM) on Probation. PO is a Junior Management Grade-1 (JMG-Scale 1) Officer.
Selection Procedure : The examination is held in two phases - Preliminary and Main, followed by an interview. Candidates who qualify in preliminary examination and are shortlisted, have to appear for main examination and shortlisted candidates in the main examination will be subsequently called for a Group Discussion & Interview.
The Final Selection of the Candidate depends on marks obtained in Mains exam and interview. Prelimanary Marks are not Calculated. The Marks of Pre Exam are only of Qualifying nature.
